The feds tried a "luxury Tax" in the past on high ticket items like large pleasure craft. The wealthy customers simply went to foriegn boat sellers and our boat sellers suffered huge loss of sales, no sales tax income either. It will happen here too. The consumers will go some where else and the state will have even less revenue. The state can not tax us to create its prosperity, only bankruptcy.

Our Governor, unfortunately, is exactly what most people that voted for him thought he wasn't. He is a LIBERAL. A person that thinks a promise and a man's word are only good until the wool is pulled firmly enough over a sufficient no. of eyes. I seriously doubt if he ever had a plan to pull this State out of it's finacial mess. There is so much more I could say, but am afraid our Governor would find a way to levy a per word tax on letters of criticism of him and his perfomance.
