The Sacramento river is flowing nearly 5 times more water than before MWD began taking delivery. Reducing the flow by that amount will reduce turbitiy significantly. A much lower and slower flow will result in much less erosion of the banks. The bank can dry out, solidify and not erode nearly as much. The extra water should be divirted at Shasta and Wiskeytown and sent down the west side by aqueduct and pipe. Pipes under the bay and connect direct to Tracy pumps.
