This Thursday, January 1st, Sacramento Raceway presents the 40th annual “New Years Day Drag Races.”

This event features over 300 sportsmen racers in four NHRA Categories of dial your handicap racing, including Super Pro Dragsters, Pro full-bodied door slammers, Street Machines and Drag Bikes.

Gates open at 8 a.m., time runs are at 10 a.m. and the first race is at 12 p.m. Pit admission is $15. Children under 12 are free.
