The country's first Muslim-themed television channel is set to launch Tuesday with the aim of countering what its founders say are biased images of Muslims in the mainstream media.
I spent 30-minutes watching tonight at
THIS site. The network (while I watched) featured an 'Arab and Jew Comedy Team' performing 'live' (recorded live) from a theatre in Denver, Colorado. They were funny, but much of it came across as forced humor as I felt the audience treading upon 'intellectual eggshells' (they knew better) with some of the humorous content.
It's worth the time in viewing, take a peek and prepare for the future -
Muslim (Islamic) TV in America.
and tell me what you think...what you are watching and what the network is communicating to Americans and the Muslim Communities in the US.
I'll follow this blog with your email comments and a few of my own after viewing for a period of time. I will not post racial overtones and diatribes - try to have something intelligent to contribute, please. We all have our scepticisms, try to express them without throwing verbal bombs.

UPDATE...
Here is an initial thought, I've noticed that there is nothing patriotic about this network. There has been no mention of the USA, our soldiers in battle, news of country value...so far, nothing in any content has reflected this country or America. I'll keep watching to see if I'm wrong.
