Chief Justice Ronald George was in the minority of a 4-2 decision by the California Supreme Court not to reopen the case of
Stanley “Tookie” Williams. It appears that the December 8th meeting between California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s administration and lawyers requesting clemency for Stanley now has even greater significance.
