Tax Break for Aspiring Witches…Only in the Netherlands!


As if their support of child pornography and same sex marriage weren’t enough to prove that the Dutch were out there, this one should cement it. Apparently they are now offering tax breaks for the study of Witchcraft.

Study shows California ranks at the bottom in job opportunities and job quality


According the liberal leaning Political Economy Research Institute, California ranks 47th out of the 50 states in number of job opportunities and 40th when it comes to job quality.

(Let Tookie Live Update) Something for Christians to consider…

For those who are either not believers or are not mature in their faith, the Christian concept of redemption or forgiveness can be difficult to fully understand. It is only natural to believe that there are some crimes that are beyond forgiveness. For those who don’t know the Word, the idea that murders, rapists and even child molesters could find their way into heaven is repugnant. And the thought that God could use anyone who is guilty of such evil… The idea that he could use a man like Stanley Williams, the founder of the Crips and a convicted murderer… well that is too much for some to handle.

But for those of us who are believers and are mature in the things of God, we know that this would not be the first time God has redeemed a murderer, a persecutor of the righteous and used him for his glory. If God could use the Apostle Paul, could he use Stanley "Tookie" Williams?

Was Harriet Miers setup for failure?


I haven’t commented at all on the nomination of Harriett Miers to the Supreme Court, because I really wasn’t sure what to think of her. Like many, I was hoping that something… anything would come out to shine light on her candidacy and explain why President Bush thought she was a good choice to serve on the Supreme Court. That something never showed up. That ace in the hole was never played. And now that Miers has withdrawn her name from consideration, one is left thinking….Why did President Bush set Miers up to failure?

(Let Tookie Live Update) Stanley to be executed on Dec. 13th

Yesterday, a judge signed the death warrant for Stanley “Tookie” Williams setting his execution date for December 13, 2005. His fate now rests in the hands of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
