Around the 42 mile marker on I-70 East in PA, on slick roads (we’ve been in freezing rain, light snow and hail all day).   He passed us, swerved in front, slowed down and repeatedly slammed on his brakes several times then sped ahead about the same time we called the Pennsylvania State Police.  Only the skill of our driver prevented us from going off the road.

Both drivers were up front and while we were calling the police the drivers made note of the vehicle description and plate.  The would be killer is driving a late model Ford pick up truck, dark in color (perhaps green - it’s dark and hard to tell) with New Jersey License Plates WHG-82P.

As I reported more than a week ago a woman at a truck stop just East of Flagstaff, Arizona screamed at us “I’D LIKE TO RUN YOU OFF THE ROAD!”

I’ll be on with Bill and Megyn from the Fox DC studio right around 6:30 AM (Pacific).  Then we have press conference at the National Press Club (we expect a disruption from at least one Code Pinker posing as press.)

With John McCain and Sarah Palin stumping Ohio and Pennsylvania we shifted our focus to Michigan and are now barreling through to DC for a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.  We are scheduled for 11 AM tomorrow.  All of us climbing into our cribs here on the Big Bus.

Megyn Kelly (Fox News Channel) is our new champion.  Every time she nails some asshat Leftist to the wall and forces them off talking points into an answer a cheer goes up in the bus.

No, fatso didn’t have the nerve to show up.  Too bad, I wanted to thank him for being such a splendid illustration of everything vile about the Domestic Insurgency.  But a couple hundred wildly cheering people did - not a single Obama supporter among them.   A German TV news crew from the national German network ARD (< that link goes to their German Languague home page… click here for the Wikipedia article in English) also joined us for the Flint rally and rode with us for a while.

The Flint rally was our most successful yet in terms of just shear energy.

More later, right now we are watching Megyn Kelly shred Obama spokesman Bill Burton on Fox….  I’m glad she likes me, I’d be meat if she didn’t!

We have been the lead story Mid-Michigan TV news for two days now.  As soon as we announced the change in our itinerary they jumped on the story of our impending arrival, today they are leading with the rallies.

This US Flag is filled with the names of the victims of 9/11 and travels to military memorials in Mid-Michigan and beyond

Pretty scary stuff.  Among other things Obama tells the host that the Civil Rights movement was really about wealth “redistribution” (from each according to his means to each according to his needs, by force of law) and got “side tracked“. 

He also said the the United States Constitution is badly “flawed” - presumably the parts that enforce God-given, individual human rights.

That observation made by Joe’s dad, Frank, during our conversation earlier today.  We were talking about the insipid response from the media to Joe’s question to Obama and the resulting vicious personal attacks on Joe and his family.

Frank is not angry, if anything he is mildly amused at the elitists in the Drive By Media and around Obama who are looking down their noses and denigrating honest people who work for a living.  But he sure put a fine point on Joe’s question when he described Joe and added a rhetorical question: “Joe exemplifies the American Dream.  We all want to get ahead, why is that wrong?  Should we be punished for wanting to get ahead?”

Frank, you are right about Joe.  He has become a metaphor for every American working to build a better life for themselves, their families and their communities.  There is NOT a thing wrong with that, in fact quite the contrary… and NO we should NOT be punished for working hard for better.

I can only add this to what Frank said, Joe does indeed exemplify the American Dream, and Barack Obama exemplifies an American Nightmare.
